On Feb. 4th, Shenzhen Longgang Police opened an investigation of the confirmed case that a man named Ruan was on suspicion of endangering public safety.
After preliminary investigation: On January 26, Ruan returned to Shenzhen by car from Qianjiang, Hubei.
On the morning of 27th, Ruan signed the “Home Isolation Commitment”, but still went out for several consecutive days, deliberately concealed the true itinerary, activities, and symptoms such as fever and cough, deceiving the investigators.
On February 3, Ruan was diagnosed with COVID-19, and his family has been isolated for observation.
