At 20:07 on June 9, Xi’an Fire Protection Jinhua North Road Fire Rescue Station received an alarm saying that a patient in Xijing Hospital was inserted near the eye with a bow and arrow, and requested the fire department to assist in the disposal.

The rescue station dispatched a rescue unit with 7 people in a car, and instructor Yang Qin led the rescue.

The Most Dangerous Bow and Arrow in Community

Arriving at the scene, it was found that a female patient had a bow and arrow inserted under her left eye.

It was understood that a man was playing with a bow and arrow in the community and accidentally injured the injured person who was walking.

Because the hospital needs to perform CT examination on the injured, the bow and arrow are too long to enter the instrument, and the hospital does not have tools to cut it, so fire rescue personnel need to cut the bow and arrow short.

After the fire station signed a letter of commitment between the patient’s family and the hospital, one fire rescuer used pliers to fix the two sides, and another fire rescuer used bolt cutters to cut off the bow and arrow.

After the disposal is completed and it is determined that there is no danger, it will be handed over to the hospital, and the command center will be asked to return.

It is understood that the police are investigating the matterbcurrently.

On May 10, it was circulated on the Internet that “some people in Zizhou countryside spent tens of millions of yuan to hold a funeral”, which aroused heated discussions among netizens.

On May 14, the reporter learned from relevant departments of Zizhou County that the Zizhou County Party Committee and County Government attach great importance to this matter, and has established a joint investigation team to conduct in-depth on-the-spot investigation and verification.

According to the content of the Internet transmission, at a rural funeral scene, some people set off a large number of fireworks and firecrackers, and some people lined up to lay wreaths. The funeral banquet was filled with expensive tobacco and alcohol such as Feitian Moutai and Zhonghua Tobacco, and a large number of guests were dining.

Some netizen said, “This is a funeral in our village, and 10 million is not enough.”

The reporter interviewed and verified that the funeral was held in a village in Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province.

On May 10, a local villager told the reporter that he had heard that a man in a neighboring village had passed away, and his family held a grand funeral for him. He also heard from the condolences that Maotai and Zhonghua cigarettes were drunk at the banquet.

Another local villager also said that this was indeed the case, and many people in the village went to the scene.

“The scene is really well arranged, but the money spent is not as much as the Internet rumors.” On May 10, a villager told the reporter that the funeral was held in their village on May 9, and he went to the scene to express condolences and eat. At the banquet, there is indeed Maotai and Chinese cigarettes on the banquet.

“The old man’s son has his own vegetable market in Xi’an, and he can afford the money,” said the villager.

Recently, Beijing’s pandemic prevention and control have entered a critical stage, among which Chaoyang District has required the entire district to implement a home office.

The Toughest Boss
The Toughest Boss

However, on this occasion, Suntech, the “first share in adult education”, was exposed to requiring employees to install computer monitoring software overnight, and they must automatically take screenshots every 5 minutes.

Radar Finance noticed that Suntech employees broke the news on multiple social platforms that if they failed to capture several times, all performance would be deducted, and leaders and HR would also deduct money.

Some employees even dared not go to the toilet during work because the company’s requirement to capture faces every 5 minutes was too tense, fearing that they would not be captured.

It is worth mentioning that the monitoring software that employees need to install only supports Windows systems and is not compatible with Apple computers, which makes employees using Apple computers have to install virtual machines to facilitate company monitoring.

The Toughest Boss
The Toughest Boss

“It’s not the first time that Suntech has done this. It was like this during the first wave of the pandemic in 2019.” Radar Finance noticed that some netizens said under the topic of #Suntechresponding to home surveillance employees, “You know that Suntech is profitable. Is it the secret to new highs? It’s all about squeezing employees to deduct performance.”

In response, Suntech said that due to the severe pandemic situation in Beijing and in response to the government’s instructions on employees working from home, in order to ensure employees’ work efficiency, the company has adopted emergency management measures for working from home during the pandemic, and with employees’ informed consent, The software is installed by the employees themselves for office work. During working hours, the software will randomly check the working status of employees. The telecommuting measures are currently in the trial operation stage. Personal time such as meals and breaks for employees is not part of working hours, and no random checks will be made.

According to public information, Suntech was established in 2003, mainly for the adult education market between the ages of 18 and 40; the company’s main business involves three major areas: vocational qualification certificate training, academic training and vocational skills training.

In June 2014, Suntech completed the comprehensive transformation from the traditional offline teaching mode to the online education mode. At the same time, the company established a distinctive teaching operation mode of “large class live class + class teacher”.

From 2016 to 2018, Suntech maintained an annual revenue growth of more than 100%, and successfully landed on the US stock market in 2018. On the first day of listing, the company opened at US$13.1, up 13.9% from the issue price, and its market value once exceeded US$2 billion.

But at the same time, Suntech has always been unable to get rid of the loss situation year after year. From 2015 to 2020, the company’s accumulated net loss attributable to the parent exceeded 3.2 billion yuan. And this is the overall dilemma faced by online education.

In the opinion of a person who has been concerned about the education field for a long time, the adult education industry is already large and scattered, and the groups it covers are mostly short-term study for the purpose of examination and verification, and the relative repurchase rate is low. It is inevitable to fall into the advertising war with competitors, and it is difficult to change the status quo of the relatively high proportion of students dropping out.

On this basis, many institutions will exaggerate the effect of the course when promoting and recruiting students, posting words such as “no refunds”, “covering the certificate”, or even fictitious certificates or information to attract students. Suntech is also one of them, and the number of complaints the company has received has grown rapidly in recent years.

The Toughest Boss
The Toughest Boss

According to statistics from Radar Finance and Economics at 315.00 this year, Suntech’s complaints on the Black Cat Complaint Platform rank among the top among all adult online education institutions, reaching 26,044, almost 10,000 more than Tanzhou Education, which ranks second.

Today, the number of complaints from Suntech has increased to 27,889. This means that in the past 57 days, the Suntech organization has had an increase of 1,845 complaints, an average of 32 more complaints per day. Many netizens have affixed three labels to Suntech: difficult refunds, routine loans, and false advertisements.

Suntech, which has been frequently caught up in public opinion turmoil, has not only been named by CCTV many times but has also been named and notified by regulatory authorities in Beijing, Hubei, and other places and given corresponding administrative penalties.

As of May 10, the company’s stock price has fallen by more than 98% from its initial high, and the current market value is only $32.57 million.

Among them, on the past May 10, Suntech Education opened at $3.02 and suddenly fell nearly 8% after 2 and a half hours, triggering the circuit breaker for the first time. After the resumption of trading, Suntech fell and rose sharply again, triggering circuit breakers four times, and fell nearly 26% during the session, and the stock price hit a new low in nine months. As of the close, Suntech fell 18.87% in a single day to $2.45.

It is worth noting that in early May, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) just announced that 88 Chinese concept stocks will be added to the “pre-delisting” list, and 7 education companies including Suntech are also on the list.

Recently, in the “Twelve Hours of Chang’an” in the Tangfeng market life experience block in Xi’an, Shaanxi, Wang Yu, a girl weighing 100kg who played Yang Guifei, accidentally became popular on the Internet.

On May 11, she told the reporter that at the beginning, she was a person who could not even comb her hair together. In order to perform Yang Guifei, she followed the video to learn how to braid her hair for three days.

“I hope my performance can bring joy and beauty to everyone, and at the same time let the excellent traditional culture spread better.”

Wang Yu said that since her role as Concubine Yang became popular on the Internet, many tourists come to the scenic spot to take photos with her every day.

“I am very happy to be recognized and loved by everyone. Since May 1st, netizens from all over the country have come to take pictures with me. At night, when netizens meet me on the way home after getting off work, they will ask me to take pictures, although I was already very tired. But after all, people came all the way, hoping to fulfill their wishes.”

The reporter learned that this Xi’an girl is 28 years old this year. She has been engaged in the design of dim sum culture in the Tang Dynasty.

About a year after graduation, she was diagnosed with a disease. After more than 4 years, because she had to take a lot of hormone-containing drugs, her weight also increased from about 65kg to nearly 100kg now.

It wasn’t until last year that she listened to a doctor before switching her treatment plan. “I was originally an optimist, but occasionally I feel inferior because of my weight. During this period, I have been losing weight, conditioning my body, and wanting to maintain a healthy state.” Wang Yu said, with the persuasion and encouragement of friends and family, Gradually she overcame her weight anxiety and slowly accepted herself as she was.

Wang Yu said that her mother had helped her the most along the way. “She has been worrying about my body and will give me medicine every morning and evening. I have been busy recently, and my mother has been working as an assistant in my life. Usually, she may be bored at home alone, but the scenic spot is lively, and traveling with me every day will make her happier. “

Wang Yu said that she spends at least three hours alone every morning doing makeup, hair, and clothing, and she works about 9 hours a day. In order to maintain her makeup, she will try to choose foods that are easy to swallow for her lunch.

“Many fans are waiting. They don’t have much time to eat. They will be very tired after a day’s work. Because they have to laugh all the time, their faces are sore after getting off work.”

Back in the winter of 2019, Wang Yu wore Hanfu for the first time, “Actually, some friends around me often say that I am very suitable for Hanfu, and some people say that I am the real version of Yang Guifei, so I also gave myself a ‘杨贵肥’ name.”

Since then, Wang Yu has fallen in love with Hanfu and began to study and research related makeup, headdress, clothing selection, matching, etc. Now, she has five or six sets of Hanfu.

“I mostly study online from professional video tutorials or ancient costume TV series clips, or even a certain beautiful dance clip. I used to be a person who couldn’t even put my hair together. In order to teach me how to dress up as Concubine Yang Guifei, I watched the video for three days.” Wang Yu said.

It is understood that Wang Yu has his own shop of Tang Dynasty dim sum culture in Xi’an Tangfeng Shijing Life Experience Street.

On April 30, the “Twelve Hours of Chang’an”, the Tangfeng Market Life Experience Street, is open to the public. Wang Yu will perform the making of Tang Dynasty dim sum and calligraphy display for tourists every afternoon. Wang Yu said with a smile that recently, her work focus is on the twelve o’clock performance in Chang’an, including taking pictures with fans.

Wang Yu said that she thought the most difficult part of playing Concubine Yang was the piano, chess, and dance. “I’m studying art, and painting and calligraphy can be well displayed, but I haven’t had any contact with dance and chess before, and I will pay attention to research in my future roles.” Seeing her popularity on the Internet, Wang Yu’s friend once said that she finally got through. “The products I made before have not been noticed by everyone. This time I played Yang Guifei not only to promote the scenic spot but also to attract attention to the products I designed. The two complement each other.”

Wang Yu believes that her role as Concubine Yang is entertainment first, and her original intention is to bring happiness to everyone and spread traditional culture better.

“Of course, I have also been studying history, and I also stay up late to watch tutorial videos. Learning is a process. I hope I can be closer to the character in the future, and I also hope to make better cultural and creative products around Chinese culture.”

On the 8th, three wild boars ran around in the community and burst into the residents’ garden. The community security captain injured his left leg when driving the wild boars.

Yesterday, Ms. Yu reported to reporters that their home was also attacked by wild boars. “My husband and wild boars had a desperate fight.”

The wild boar that attacked their home was the largest of the three wild boars that had made a fuss in Taoyuan Town the day before. “It is estimated to weigh more than 50 Kilograms.” After being driven from Luyun Garden, the wild boar broke into her home after escaping into Bernshire.

Ms. Yu’s house is a townhouse on the east side. She only lived in it in 2018. Her son works in Shanghai, and she usually lives there with her husband.

Around 8:50 the day before yesterday, Ms. Yu’s husband, Mr. Yu, was planting roses in the yard. “It was almost done. I stood up and walked to the steps. Outside the yard, a big wild boar stood looking at me, and I take a look at it, too.”

Mr. Yu recalled that he saw blood on the wild boar’s mouth.

The wild boar broke an iron railing, ran into the yard, and rushed towards Mr. Yu who was standing on the steps.

“It must have been frightened, like crazy, rushed over, grabbed my hand, and held on, I shook my hands a few times and broke free from the boar. The wild boar chased again, I ran to the side, picked up the scissors for flower branches, the head of the scissors was broken, and they were not very sharp. I waved the scissors, the wild boar kept staring at him, and the scissors probably poked its head and face. “Yesterday, when Mr. Yu recalled the scene at that time, he still had lingering fears.

“I was thinking of letting it go out quickly, but it chased me. The iron gate of our house was pulled inward. I didn’t have time to do such a pull.” Mr. Yu said, he ran down the steps to open the door. The wild boar rushed over, he and the wild boar fought a few more times, finally opened the iron door, escaped, and hid behind the car outside the yard.

Ms. Yu closed the door immediately and saw the wild boar through the window, and the wild boar rushed towards the house.

At 9:03, Ms. Yu called the police. She heard a banging sound from the south gate, “It was hitting the glass door on the south side. Two doors banged and the glass door was knocked open.

Fortunately, Behind the glass door is the dining table. The dining table was blocked, and the glass door didn’t fall to the ground.

When the wild boar hit it, I waved to my husband, and he hurriedly ran from the yard into the room.

“Later I received a call from the police. The police said that the wild boar had run away from your house, but I still dared not come out. It took a long time before I went out.”

Mr. Yu is in his 50s and strong. This time, because of panic, he lost one of his shoes as he ran away.

“One shoe was full of blood and it was soaked. I was carrying the shoe, and the blood was dripping down.” Ms. Yu said that her husband’s hands and feet were bloody at the time.

At 9:25 in the morning, the 120 ambulances arrived, and Mr. Yu was sent to the Yuhang District of the First Hospital of Zhejiang University.

The emergency doctor said that the rabies vaccine should be administered first, and he rushed to Yuhang Third People’s Hospital in Pingyao.

After the vaccine, he returned to Zhejiang University. The Yuhang District of the first hospital had a debridement operation, and it was late at night after the operation.

After diagnosis, Mr. Yu’s right index finger was fractured, and he underwent steel nail fixation.

“The doctor said that the teeth of wild boars are very poisonous. I was worried about infection. The debridement operation was performed on a relatively large area.”

Mr. Yu had torn and biting wounds on both hands, his hands were swollen to a high degree, and his knees and calf shin were injured in many places.

At the “treasure hunt” site, villagers carried various tools such as hoes, shovels, and metal detectors to find gold coins.

Mr. Lin, a villager who lives nearby, said that on the afternoon of the 8th, he saw some ancient coins on the beach at the gate of his family in the WeChat group, as well as a sunken ship in the Song Dynasty. He brought his children to the scene out of curiosity.

On the river beach, some villagers touch the river beach with their bare feet, and some villagers use tools to dig in the soil.

The villagers said that the surface of some of the ancient coins has been corroded, and some ancient coins still have a “dragon”-shaped engraving.

It is understood that the flood season is approaching, and the Weishi section of the Jialu River is undergoing river reconstruction projects.

The on-site construction party told reporters that few villagers usually go to the beach to play. On the afternoon of the 8th, a large number of people suddenly gathered, which seriously affected the on-site construction. “We are working here every day, and we have not found the Song Dynasty shipwrecks and other cultural relics mentioned on the Internet. “

At about 5 pm that day, the local police blocked the scene and dispersed the villagers who came to dig treasures to go home.

The person in charge of the Weishi County Cultural Relics Protection and Management Office told the reporter that after receiving the call from the public security department, the relevant staff rushed to the scene to investigate and did not find any clues about the sunken ship in the Song Dynasty at the site. For other ancient coins and other cultural relics, the staff needs to further identify.

The person in charge appealed that according to the provisions of the Cultural Relics Protection and Management Law, any cultural relics in our country belong to the state, so citizens who discover cultural relics should turn them over to the police station in their jurisdiction in time.

If a citizen is found to have hidden cultural relics, they will be recovered and fined accordingly.

IIn Shanghai, the cost of a wedding usually reaches 30,000 to 400,000 yuan, and the price of five-star hotel dishes exceeds 10,000 yuan of each table.

But on the evening of May 2, on Jufengyuan Road in Shanghai, more than 3,000 people participated in a special wedding, and everyone happily “dine at the banquet”. In the end, the bride and groom spent 0 yuan.

Not only that, more than 300 people made plans for the wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic. A core team of 16 people was responsible for the execution, including make-up artists, photographers, emcees, directors, editors, and venue decorators. It has all the procedures a wedding should have. After the wedding, drones hovered over the community, and residents sang “Tomorrow will be better” and shouted, “Shanghai, come on.”

This wedding is a gift dedicated to the volunteer couple by more than 3,000 residents in the whole community. The bride Qi Liangliang, who has only been in Shanghai for six months, said that her hands were shaking with excitement, and she and the groom couldn’t sleep all night: “I feel so much warmth in Shanghai, a city that was originally unfamiliar to me.”

A message for help prompts residents across the community to help

“Which family has double happiness or festive accessories? We will hold a wedding with our parents in our hometown on May 2. We want to arrange a little arrangement in the rented house. Please help me to ask.”

On the evening of April 29, Qi Liangliang sent a brief WeChat message to the volunteer mutual aid group in Xuelinyuan Community, Jufengyuan Road, Shanghai. She did not expect that after dozens of minutes, this news was like a fuse, which ignited the atmosphere of the entire community.

28-year-old Ji Pengcheng and Qi Liangliang are tenants in the Xuelinyuan Community. They are both from Yancheng, Jiangsu. Ji Pengcheng is studying for a doctorate at the Baoshan campus of Shanghai University next door to the community. Qi Liangliang resigned from a stable job in a state-owned enterprise in her home country in the second half of last year in order to follow Ji Pengcheng, and became an employee of a car company headquartered in Hongqiao Business District.

Qi Liangliang came to Shanghai less than half a year ago, and when she was not fully familiar with the city, the sudden outbreak of the Omicron pandemic disrupted all their plans.

Since March 4th, Xuelinyuan Community has been closed for 10 days. On April 1st, with the overall closure and control of Puxi, all residents have entered a state of staying at home. Qi Liangliang and Ji Pengcheng became volunteers in the community, but they couldn’t keep one thing in their minds-the wedding was originally scheduled to be held at the hotel in their hometown on May 2.

With the continuous extension of the lockdown, by the end of April, it is no longer possible to go back to the hometown to hold the wedding.

“May 2 is an auspicious day. The family hopes that we will not change the time.” Qi Liangliang said that the family finally jointly decided to hold the wedding by video.

The rented house lacked festive decorations, so Qi Liangliang sent the WeChat help message to the volunteer group when the wedding was approaching.

For the first minute, no one responded. After a while, a volunteer replied, “Although I don’t have any decorations, I would like to give my best wishes.” At this time, Qi Liangliang didn’t hold out much hope.

Soon, however, dozens of volunteers forwarded Qi Liangliang’s WeChat message to various buildings in the community. Residents in the entire community began to rummage through boxes and cabinets to see if there were any suitable accessories at home.

Some people took off the big red double happiness that was attached to the refrigerator when they got married, some people found a heart-shaped candle, some people took out their treasured champagne, and some people said that they would cut out the flowers they planted in the yard and tie them into a bouquet for the bride…

A resident immediately opened a new WeChat group and issued a call: “Those who want to help the bride and groom, scan the code to enter this group, and let’s find a way together!”

In just a few tens of minutes, more than 300 people poured into the group, and everyone posted the happy items they found: a pair of bear dolls, buckets for children and grandchildren, red wine glasses, and their wedding dresses.

At this time, someone else suggested that why not hold an online “cloud wedding” that all residents of the community participated in as a gift to the volunteer couple?

More than 300 residents spontaneously plan “cloud wedding”

Sasha, who lives in Xuelinyuan Community, is an HR of a company. Her usual job is to be in charge of personnel recruitment. On the evening of April 29, when she saw in the group that everyone was going to hold a “cloud wedding” for the newlyweds, she took the initiative to undertake the recruitment work.

“To recruit makeup artists, post-editors, and drone aerial photographers, the requirements are…” Sasha sent out one after another recruitment notices in the group. What is surprising is that there are indeed “hidden dragons and crouching tigers” in the community, and soon there are professionals applying for each position, each performing their duties.

At 0:36 on April 30, just three or four hours after the bride Qi Liangliang sent her WeChat for help, Wang Siyu, a resident of the community, wrote the first version of the “Cloud Wedding” plan: the online emcee introduces the bride and groom and the parents of both parties, broadcast online video of wedding photos, add photos of two people’s growth, bride and groom serve tea to their parents online, collect video of cloud blessing from neighbors, relatives, and friends, use Tencent meeting to be responsible for the process, and have a live broadcast on Douyin platform.

Qi Liangliang and Ji Pengcheng like “Da Hua Xi You”. Last year, they made a special trip to the Northwest to take a set of wedding photos in the desert. When the wedding planning team in the community learned about the situation, they specially arranged for a poster designer to create an online invitation in the style of “Da Hua Xi You”, and it is designed to play “Da Hua Xi You” music at the wedding.

“When I saw the news that the wedding planning group was quickly swiping the screen, I was indescribably excited that night. My mother asked me to write down the things everyone gave me, and when the pandemic is over, I should return them one by one. I took a pen. My hands are shaking.” Qi Liangliang said that the residents of the community kept planning until one or two in the morning that night, and she and the groom hardly slept all night.

The couple met and fell in love in 2013. After 9 years of love running, Qi Liangliang gave up a stable job. Ji Pengcheng is also willing to help Qi Liangliang with everything and take care of her. Getting married is a big event for them. Originally, they wanted to hold a grand wedding in a five-star hotel in their hometown, Yancheng, Jiangsu. They planned to spend more than 300,000 yuan. The style is the ancient style that Qi Liangliang likes.

Because the wedding was not possible due to the pandemic, they felt a little regret and loss in their hearts, but the “cloud wedding” sent by the residents of the community together dissipated all the regrets.

The love between Qi Liangliang and Ji Pengcheng also touched all the neighbors. Everyone chose the wedding time at 5:20 pm on May 2, which means to bless the love of the newlyweds together.

“Cloud Buffet Dinner” has more than 200 dishes

May 2 is the day when the planned wedding will take place. Will this “cloud wedding” organized by residents spontaneously online achieve the desired effect?

With the approval of the neighborhood committee, Qi Liangliang and Ji Pengcheng can use the volunteer work area on the second floor of the community clubhouse to hold a short ceremony after the volunteer service work that day. During the pandemic, volunteers in the community put on and take off protective clothing and disinfected there. On May 2, the volunteers organized the work area and arranged it into a simple wedding venue.

Residents in the community rummaged through boxes and cabinets to find happy products. After unified registration, volunteers came to pick them up and disinfected them in a unified manner. Finally, they packed two entire boxes and delivered them to the bride Qi Liangliang.

The online live broadcast process of the wedding has gone through three or four rehearsals. The residents have also invited Lao Zhang, a technologist who lives in other communities, as the director of the background operation app to ensure that the live broadcast can be carried out smoothly.

Among the residents of Xuelinyuan Community, someone sent an invitation letter and a wedding video clip to warm up the wedding at 5:20 in advance.

At the beginning of the wedding, there were only the bride, groom, emcee, and photographer in white clothes, and everyone else watched the ceremony from their homes. In the volunteer work area, simple tripods formed two fixed positions with different angles, which were broadcast live to more than 3,000 people in the community.

“In the past month or so, all the residents of Xuelin Garden have worked together to fight the pandemic, and the dawn of victory is just around the corner! In this special period, we have encountered a great event, and a couple of newcomers in the community are about to welcome theirs. Newlywed life.” The wedding started on time, and the tightly wrapped emcee said.

“Hello everyone, I am Ji Pengcheng, the lucky groom today.”

“I’m the lucky bride Qi Liangliang.”

A pair of newlyweds wore dresses and masks on stage. At the same time, a large number of residents rushed into the app instantly, and the technical veteran Zhang in the background was nervously switching the screen to ensure the best live broadcast effect.

What the bride and groom did not expect was that the residents of the community recorded a blessing video in advance. Each family only had three seconds to show their faces, but the entire video was 6 minutes long. In the video, a little boy put on a suit and held roses in his hands to send blessings, a little girl wore a dance dress to perform a dance, a pair of twin children wished for a happy wedding, and a resident played a piano piece.

At the wedding, the bride cried several times, and even the mother of the bride who was far away in Yancheng couldn’t help crying.

In the barrage, some residents left a message saying that they were also in tears, and some single people said: “This is really true that lovers are married, and a single man witnessed it with his own eyes.”

After the short ceremony, on the way home for the bride and groom, residents along the way stood on their balconies and sent their blessings to them. Some people cheered up the balloons in advance, let the children wave them on the balcony, and the old people shouted: “You must be together forever and grow old together!”

For a time, the entire community was surrounded by the sound of blessings, and even the pet dogs kept barking incessantly.

At this time, it was dinner time in the evening, and the residents were all “eating” and posting their own food. “I’ll have an iced cola and fried chicken to celebrate.” “Cloud buffet, family, more than 200 dishes.”

The pandemic evokes the most real warmth in Shanghai

Liu Yinbin, an associate professor at the School of Management of Shanghai University, also lives in Xuelinyuan Community. He loves the life here. He once published a book “Jufengyuan Road is a Happy Street”. Many people just read Liu Yinbin’s book before choosing to buy a house and settle down on Jufengyuan Road.

Liu Yinbin’s book wrote: Jufengyuan Road is a little-known street in Shanghai, but this road has everything from kindergartens, primary schools, and middle schools to universities. More than 30,000 students from Shanghai University have injected infinite vitality into this street. There are both Starbucks and Walmart here, as well as street stalls and dark dishes. There are both professors and working girls living here.

The pandemic has changed this road. The liveliness and prosperity of the past disappeared, replaced by a whole month of silence and depression. However, the warmth between the neighbors has also returned. The residents here were busy and met every day but did not know each other. During the pandemic, their mutual help aroused their enthusiasm.

“Actually, not long after I came to Shanghai, I only lived in this community for half a year. When I told my family in my hometown, they were all very surprised, how could the neighbors in the community be so nice? This is the most special wedding, and I will never forget it. Xuelinyuan.” Qi Liangliang told the first financial reporter.

There is such a line in the movie “Da Hua Xi You”: My crush is an unparalleled hero, and one day he will appear, wearing golden armor and holy clothes, and stepping on colorful clouds to marry me.

After the wedding, the residents of the community changed the group name to “Colorful Clouds”, and they were all waiting for the day when the haze in Shanghai dissipated.

Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Zunyi, Guizhou Province is located on the banks of the Chishui River and is known as “China’s No. 1 Wine Town”. Because many wine companies have problems such as destroying the ecology and building without approval, the local government has recently been named by the central government.

Ecological Test of "China's First Wine Town"
The Shiba River, a tributary of the Chishui River in Renhuai City, was notified for its water quality exceeding the standard

“Illegal construction and ecological destruction of liquor companies in the Chishui River Basin occur from time to time, posing a threat to the ecological environment of the basin.” On March 18 this year, the Central Second Ecological Environmental Protection Inspectorate Group pointed out to Guizhou Province that the water quality of the mainstream Chishui River is generally stable at the surface water class II standard, but some river basins and regional ecological environment problems are still relatively prominent. Among the 11 tributaries of the Chishui River flowing through Maotai Town, Zunyi City, 4 of them are of inferior V class.

Behind the ecological problems is industrial chaos. The inspection team pointed out: “Renhuai City’s implementation of the relevant industrial development regional layout planning is not strict, and the illegal use of land is restricted and standardized development areas, and construction without approval are prominent. Since 2020, Jinjiang Wine Company has illegally occupied forest land twice. It was investigated and dealt with, and some mountains and woodlands were destroyed.”

The tributaries were black and smelly

The Chishui River originates from Zhenxiong, Yunnan, with a total length of more than 500 kilometers. It is an important tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Many brands such as Maotai, Langjiu, and Luzhou Laojiao have been bred on both sides of the river, so it is known as China’s “Beautiful Wine River”. Renhuai City is a regional central city in the Chishui River Basin and a core production area of the world’s high-quality Maotai-flavor liquor.

Chishui River has made liquor enterprises, and liquor enterprises have driven the local economy. The materials provided by Renhuai City show that Renhuai is the origin and main producing area of Chinese Maotai-flavor liquor, and the liquor industry is Renhuai’s leading industry and an important economic engine. In 2021, the city will achieve a regional GDP of 156.449 billion yuan, its economic aggregate will rank 12th among the top 100 counties and cities in the country, and its comprehensive strength ranks 4th among the top 100 western counties. In 2021, there are 106 liquor enterprises above the designated size in the city, and the total output value of the liquor industry will increase by 29.9% year on year; the packaging volume of liquor will be 197,800 kiloliters, a year-on-year increase of 31.5%.

While the Renhuai liquor industry is developing rapidly, the pollution problem of the Chishui River is frequently reported in the newspapers. On July 26, 2021, the official website of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guizhou Province released an article “The pollution of the Renhuai section of the Chishui River in Zunyi City still remains, and the regional environmental problems are prominent”. The article stated that in April 2021, the seventh ecological and environmental protection inspection team of Guizhou Province inspected Zunyi City and found that the liquor industry in Renhuai City developed disorderly, and the pollution control was not well promoted.

“The 2019 National Yangtze River Economic Belt warning film revealed that the liquor enterprises in Renhuai City were discharging excessively, the centralized sewage treatment facilities were not operating normally, and the tributaries of the Chishui River were seriously polluted. The waste water pollution control of the liquor industry will be completed before the end of the year, and the water quality targets of Class III will be achieved in each stream.” The seventh ecological environmental protection inspection team of Guizhou Province criticized and pointed out that the inspection team found that the Renhuai Municipal Government and relevant functional departments did not plan well. Liquor enterprises developed disorderly, pollution control progressed slowly, and the pollution of various streams and ditches remained, and regional environmental problems were prominent.

The provincial inspection team pointed out in April last year that there are 1,690 liquor companies in Renhuai City, of which 778 are in production in 2021. In 2021, among the liquor enterprises in production in Renhuai City, the cooling water is mainly water-cooled. According to the requirements of relevant standards and regulations, cooling water must be collected and treated and reused, and the reuse rate is not less than 80%.

“However, except for a few companies such as Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd., which built cooling water circulation treatment systems as required, most of the remaining liquor companies built simple cooling pools on roofs and factory areas, which failed to meet relevant standards and specifications. The cooling water with high temperature and high concentration is directly discharged into the external environment, increasing the pollution load of each stream.” The official website of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment criticized several companies. The cooling water of Renhuai Wenyang Wine Industry Co., Ltd. was discharged directly, and the water quality was black; the cooling water pipe network of the Jincheng Wine Industry was disorganized, and external drainage pipes were set up; the cooling water collection pool of Jinmao Ancient Winery had wastewater overflow.

Qiu Shuyi, dean of the College of Brewing and Food Engineering of Guizhou University and director of the Guizhou Provincial Key Laboratory of Fermentation Engineering and Biopharmaceuticals, said that in the past, the sewage treatment capacity of Renhuai City was limited, and some wineries were not standardized, and some were in order to save money. There is the phenomenon of sewage discharge to the Chishui River, especially in the rainy season, this phenomenon is more prominent. In addition, some enterprises did not have anti-leakage and anti-seepage devices in their cellars, which resulted in the extravasation of cellar bottom water.

Official monitoring data shows that the water quality of Shiba River, Renxi Valley, Lanjiawan, Yuanmuyan and Shengli Valley, the tributaries of Chishui River in Renhuai City, all exceeded the standard. From January to March 2021, the COD (chemical oxygen demand) of Lanjia Bay is as high as 251mg/L; the COD of Renxigou water quality is as high as 165mg/L, both of which are inferior to Class V water quality. The inspection team believes that some liquor companies have weak awareness of environmental protection, frequent violations of laws and regulations, and the situation of water pollution prevention and control in some creeks in the Renhuai section of the Chishui River is severe.

Many wine companies “get on the bus first and then make up the ticket”

In the relevant circulars of the environmental protection inspection teams of the central government and Guizhou Province, it is mentioned that many local wine companies have problems with the building before approval.

Inspectors from the seventh ecological and environmental protection inspection team of Guizhou Province found that there are still 20 production enterprises in the prohibited development zone planned by Renhuai City that has not yet been relocated. After random inspections, some liquor companies have illegally occupied land, and environmental impact assessments have been “built before approval”. Bayi Liquor, Xixiangfeng Liquor, Jinjiao Liquor, etc. were put into the construction without going through the approval procedures for land use; Maotai Town Collection Liquor, Maoding Liquor Co., Ltd., and Jinmao Ancient Liquor Phase II project did not go through the environmental impact assessment procedures. The second central ecological and environmental protection inspection team pointed out that since 2020, Jinjiang Wine Industry has been investigated for illegal occupation of forest land twice, and some mountains and forest land have been destroyed.

According to the official website of Jinjiang Liquor Industry, the company is only separated by a river from Kweichow Moutai Distillery. In 1996, “Jinjiang Wine Industry Co., Ltd., Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Guizhou Province” was established. In 2013, it reached a strategic cooperation with Hangzhou Wahaha Group and established Lingjianguo Wine Co., Ltd., Maotai Town, Renhuai City, Guizhou Province. The company currently has an annual production capacity of more than 5,000 tons of high-quality Maotai-flavored wine, covers an area of more than 300 acres, and has more than 350 employees. According to the data, Wang Hongbin, chairman of Jinjiang Wine Industry, has won honors such as “Guizhou Wine Craftsman” issued by the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions.

“China News Weekly” investigated and learned that the above-mentioned unapproved pre-construction project refers to the “Maotai Town Maotai Wine Valley” project developed and invested by Jinjiang Wine Industry, which started construction on the morning of November 3, 2020. According to the relevant information from Jinjiang Wine Industry, the Maoxiang Wine Valley project has a total investment of 600 million yuan, covers an area of 130,000 square meters, and has a total construction area of 160,080 square meters. The construction content of the project includes sauce wine culture base, sauce wine exhibition and sales center, sauce wine culture exchange center, sauce wine valley cultural museum, sauce wine valley ancient method brewing area, packaging workshop, comprehensive building, office building, expo hall, etc. The construction period is 2 years, 1 year for decoration, to ensure that it will be put into operation within 3 years.

Ecological Test of "China's First Wine Town"
There is a shop in Renhuai City that sells the self-proclaimed “Maotai Sanjiu” in Maotai Town, and the cheapest price is only 18 yuan per catty

On April 3, when the reporter visited the Maotai Wine Valley project, they found that the project is located on a mountain opposite the Maotai International Hotel and is now in a state of shutdown. An executive of a nearby company revealed that Jinjiangjiu Valley was suspended last year due to ecological damage. “When some nearby wine companies expanded, everything went smoothly. But when Jinjiang Wine Industry did this project, it made too much noise.”

The contractor of Maoxiang Liquor Valley is Sichuan Honglin Construction Group Co., Ltd. A staff member of the company said that the shutdown of the project was the reason for the owner (Golden Jam Company). “It seems to be related to ecological destruction and construction without approval.” A person in charge of the administrative department of Jinjiang Company confirmed to “China News Weekly” that the Jiangxiang Wine Valley project was indeed suspended last year, and there is no construction permit yet. “After all, this is a construction project without approval and needs to be rectified, so Sichuan Honglin Company dare not continue construction.”

The person in charge said that the Jinjiang Wine Industry’s destruction of forestland mentioned by the Central Second Ecological Environmental Protection Inspectorate also occurred during the construction of Maoxiang Wine Valley. “Actually, the small saplings on the hillside were destroyed at that time, and the forest has not yet become a forest.” The person in charge said that Jinjiang Wine Industry won the land a few years ago, and the current forest land license has been approved. The company has also reported the relevant materials for the application for the construction permit to the Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau, and is under review. “Other procedures are complete and are being reported in accordance with standard procedures. As for when to start construction, we are also waiting for the results.”

Guizhou Bayi Wine Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Bayi Wine Industry”) and other companies also have the problem of building before approval. A staff member of Bayi Wine Industry told said that when the company was expanding, some procedures were not completed before starting construction, and now it has been suspended due to lack of construction permits. “We are speeding up the relevant procedures, and some procedures may not be completed in two years.”

A number of local entrepreneurs interviewed said that many wine companies in Renhuai City have problems of building before approval, and there are certain “pragmatic considerations”. The local government has always attached great importance to the development of wine enterprises, but the many characteristics of the mountains have restricted the development of wine enterprises. In order to solve this dilemma, the local government buys the quota of non-local cultivated land in a balanced way to achieve new construction land and meet the needs of enterprise development, but this requires a process. In order to develop, some enterprises can also “make up for the formalities while building”.

Qiu Shuyi also said that in the past, some wine companies “emphasized development and neglected management”. Coupled with the shortage of land construction indicators in Guizhou Province, it took a long process for some companies to obtain a piece of land. In this context, in order to start work as soon as possible, some wine companies have the situation of “getting on the bus first and then making up the ticket”.

From the “Adjustment and Improvement Plan of Renhuai City Land Utilization Master Plan (2006-2020)” formulated by Renhuai Municipal Government in July 2017, it can be seen that the whole city of Renhuai is dominated by mountains, accounting for about 86.7% of the total land area. , the dam only accounts for 1.9% of the total land area.

It has become Renhuai’s top priority to supplement the shortage of construction land indicators by purchasing arable land indicators and balancing the occupation and compensation. The above-mentioned “Plan” mentioned that in order to complete the task of balancing the occupation and compensation of cultivated land, from 2010 to 2014, the city purchased 809.42 hectares of cultivated land from Hezhang County, Tongzi County, Fenggang County, Zheng’an County, Wuchuan County and Daozhen County, and the amount of cultivated land accounted for and compensated was 809.42 hectares. To balance the source of the main indicators, it is necessary to rely on off-site purchases, and it is more difficult to supplement locally.

During the implementation of the above-mentioned plan, the whole city of Renhuai supplemented 674.67 hectares of arable land through land development, reclamation and reclamation, which only fulfilled 34.6% of the planned target in 2020, and was less than half (46.65%) of the total area of arable land occupied by new construction in the city during the same period . The speed of construction occupying arable land far exceeds the speed of replenishing arable land.

The main reason for the rapid occupation of arable land for construction is that Renhuai City’s “national wine industry has developed rapidly, and the scale of construction land has grown rapidly”. The above plan determines that by 2020, the total scale of new construction land, agricultural land occupied by new construction, and cultivated land occupied by new construction will be controlled within 3,329.00 hectares, 2,385.00 hectares, and 1,811.00 hectares, respectively. In 2014, the city’s total scale of new construction land was 3049.21 hectares, the total scale of agricultural land occupied by new construction was 2567.08 hectares, and the total scale of cultivated land occupied by new construction was 1446.15 hectares. “The implementation of the current plan is just over halfway through, and the construction land index and use progress have reached about 90%, and some have exceeded 100%.”

The shortage of land indicators has also led to skyrocketing prices. In July 2021, Lv Yuhua, executive vice president, and secretary-general of Zunyi City (Renhuai City) Liquor Industry Association, once said: “Now Renhuai’s land is gold. An enterprise needs one mu of land, including resource compensation fees, no matter whether it is Diaoyutai or Maotai, it used to be 40,000 to 51,000 acres, and now it is more than 500,001 acres, and some are even close to 700,000.”

In April 2019, in the Maotai Town section of the Chishui River, the houses along the river were full of billboards of large and small wineries.

Rectification problems

In order to consolidate land, facilitate supervision, and control pollution, the Renhuai Municipal Government is taking measures such as merger and reorganization of “small, scattered and weak” wine companies. The Renhuai Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department sent a written reply to “China News Weekly” stating that the Renhuai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government made it clear that in the next three years from 2021, more than 600 “small and weak” liquor enterprises will be comprehensively managed.

The rectification goal is to achieve a significant decrease in the total number of Renhuai liquor production enterprises and a substantial increase in enterprises above the designated size by 2025. “Shut down and transfer, all foreign non-physical capital investment projects will be suspended, and no expansion of production capacity without approval will be allowed.

Renhuai City regards it as a “slimming revolution” in the liquor industry. On September 7, 2021, the Renhuai Municipal Government Office issued the “Notice of Guiding Opinions on the Implementation of Mergers and Reorganizations of Liquor Enterprises in Renhuai City”, which clearly aims to make the reorganized liquor enterprises complete with complete certificates and licenses by promoting the merger and reorganization of liquor enterprises. The procedures are legal, safe and reliable, eco-friendly, high-quality, and efficient, and the independent annual output of Daqu Maotai is more than 400 tons, and the new liquor enterprise project construction capacity is more than 2,000 tons of Daqu Maoxiang liquor per year. The document also clarifies the staged industrial cluster development goals of the Renhuai sauce wine industry. By 2025, the city’s liquor output will reach 450,000 kiloliters, the total output value of the liquor industry will reach more than 150 billion yuan, and the tax revenue will exceed 60 billion yuan. A liquor industry cluster with one hundred-billion-level enterprise, three ten-billion-level enterprises, more than 10 billion-level enterprises, and 40 100-billion-level enterprises has been initially formed, and the upstream and downstream industrial chain of liquor has been further improved.

In the process of merging and reorganizing liquor enterprises in Renhuai City, how to withdraw in an orderly manner of “small, scattered and weak” still faces many obstacles, and there is a dilemma in the Renxigou area of Maotai Town.

Renxigou is located in the tributary of Chishui River and belongs to Yantan Village. Yantan Village is located in the core area of China’s wine capital wine industry and the development of the tertiary industry. A number of interviewed local wine company owners said that around 2000, some wine companies have sprung up near Renxi Valley, and there are currently 18 wine companies (including workshops).

Jindong Group is planning to build a Maotai-flavor liquor brewing base in Renxigou. When China News Weekly visited Yantian Village, it found that a huge billboard was posted in the village with the words “Aerial View of Jindong Sauce Wine Brewing Base Planning”. According to the official website of Jindong Investment Group Co., Ltd. (“Jindong Group”), the company was founded in 1996 and has formed a business model of “industry + investment”. Jindong Group has 15,000 employees and total assets of more than 30 billion yuan.

Ou Jie, chairman of Maotai Town Hanwang Wine Co., Ltd., told China News Weekly that Hanwang Wine currently has 356 cellars and more than 200 workers, which is the largest of the 18 wine companies (including workshops) in Renxigou. “For Hanwang Liquor, we will obey the government’s arrangement whether it will be merged or upgraded in the future.”

However, in Renxigou, except for a few wine companies such as Hanwang Wine Industry, the others are mostly smaller wineries or workshops. For these business owners, they are more worried about whether they will face the fate of being directly shut down in the future. The dissatisfaction of wine business owners is that they invested a lot of money last year to support the “four reforms” work and to continue production, but now the company is once again facing the problem of survival. “In order to make a company bigger and stronger, why did the government kill more than a dozen companies here? No matter how big or small, as long as companies are legal and compliant, they should not be discriminated against.”

The relevant video provided by Wu Mingyong shows that on March 2, 2022, the Renhuai Municipal Government convened the heads of 18 enterprises in Renxigou to hold a “Renxigou Liquor Development and Utilization Project Enterprise Symposium”. At the meeting, the government has not yet clarified the relocation plan and compensation plan. A number of people in charge of Renxigou wine companies told China News Weekly that the region has a great impact on the quality of Maotai liquor. Compared with economic compensation, they are more worried about whether they will be able to brew the same wine in the future if they leave here. Wine of the same quality.

In September 2021, the public account “Understanding Wine” published the article “Renhuai Wine Company Mergers and Reorganizations Are Coming”. The article said that as early as 2007, Renhuai issued guidance on the integration of resources for small and medium-sized liquor production enterprises, and planned to complete the integration of small and medium-sized liquor enterprises in two years from January 1, 2008. However, this big integration is not over. For this merger and reorganization, from March 2020, Renhuai began to prepare for the merger and reorganization of wine companies.

The article quoted an insider in Renhuai City as saying that if it wasn’t for the epidemic, this work would have been fully launched in early 2021. This merger and reorganization are very different from the past. In the past, the government was relatively poor and could not spend much money to solve the social contradictions in the process of large-scale integration. Now, the government is relatively rich in finance, and industrial upgrading and environmental protection, and ecological improvement have reached a critical point. This forces the local government to push forward mergers and acquisitions to ensure the healthy development of the Renhuai sauce wine industry cluster.

“Mergers and reorganizations and becoming bigger and stronger are the dreams of several generations of Renhuai’s leaders. However, the strong government intervention and the flexibility of market allocation of resources are two sides of the difficult decision of Renhuai wine companies. Except for Moutai Group, there are very few wine companies in Renhuai. Except for state-owned holding companies, most of them are small-scale private companies.” The article analyzed that they prefer the government to lessen the strong integration of “lalang matching” style, but let the market allocate resources. However, if mergers and acquisitions are not carried out, it will be difficult for the government to supervise small, scattered and disorderly wine companies. Once the Chishui River suffers major environmental pollution, it will be difficult for the Renhuai sauce wine industry to resist ecosystem risks.

Some analysts believe that the measures taken by the Renhuai Municipal Government to transform and upgrade local wine companies, mergers and reorganizations are the general trends, which is conducive to cultivating and expanding the cluster of key liquor enterprises and standardizing the order of liquor production and operation. However, in this process, how considering the legitimate demands of enterprises also tests the government’s governance ability.

This video was first posted at 10:57 a.m. on April 28 in Jiangda County, Qamdo City. After posting the video, Mr. Heineken asked for help: “I bought no deductible insurance, but the monkey who caused the accident can’t be found. Will the insurance company pay?”

Some netizens questioned why they didn’t get out of the car to drive the monkeys away. Mr. Heineken explained: “I don’t even dare to open the window.”

In fact, the practice of not driving the windows is right. Some netizens kindly reminded: “I was bitten by monkeys last year when I fed monkeys. I received several rabies vaccines. Please stay away from them.”

In an interview with Hebei Radio and Television, Mr. Heineken revealed: “I called the insurance company, the insurance company said it was man-made, they won’t pay.” Then he updated the follow-up video at 14:11 on April 30, in which he said: ” The monkey who broke the wiper went back to the mountains, and I didn’t dare to hit it. I don’t need the insurance company to pay for it, thank you for your concern. “

When traveling by car during the holiday, what should we do when encountering monkeys and other animals making troubles?

The reporter interviewed Mr. Guo, an insurance broker who usually deals with insurance companies on behalf of policyholders. He first expressed his views on Mr. Heineken’s video: “The loss of such wiper blades being broken by monkeys cannot be dealt with by Mr. Heineken. Time also matters. When he sees monkeys climbing the hood, he should stop this behavior as soon as possible. The insurance companies said that is man-made damage, not that the one who broke the wiper is the person, but that the result can be avoided, the owner’s inaction led to the latter result.”

Mr. Guo introduced the correct way to deal with encountering monkeys in self-driving tours: “First of all, keep calm and try to honk the horn to drive the monkeys away to avoid losses. If you fail to avoid damage to the wipers, windshields, mirrors, or car paint, you must assess the size of the loss. In fact, the repair cost of the wiper is only more than 100 yuan. If the insurance company really pays a claim, resulting in a sharp increase in the second year’s insurance premium, even as high as 30%, then the gain is not worth the loss. Many insurance companies have a 30% reduction in annual premiums without insurance for three consecutive years. So the owner can decide which is more cost-effective to repair the car yourself or make an insurance claim. If the loss is relatively large, you can make a claim according to the normal claims process such as on-site evidence collection, telephone reporting, etc.”

There are some local sanitation trucks and urban management law enforcement vehicles on the scene. Some rotten apples had been shoveled into the back compartment of the sanitation truck: “Most of them are indeed broken, and we picked out some good ones .”

In a refrigerator car, there are four small baskets of apples that are still in good condition, and the owner of the car, who is also the owner of the batch of apples, is Lao Qiu, a 44-year-old from Huludao, Liaoning Province.

Reporter: Where did these apples come from?

Lao Qiu: On April 22, I pulled five thousand kilograms of apples from Jinzhou, Liaoning, and drove to Shanghai overnight. I arrived at night on the 23rd. I found that the wholesale market in the western suburbs was banned from trading, so I wanted to come to Baoshan because I used to come here to pull goods, I thought about retailing apples. But when I came, I found that there was no one on the street at all. I have been to the surrounding Youyi Road and Mudanjiang Road, the apples were not sold for a few days, and they were slowly rotten, so I thought that they could only be dumped.

Reporter: What about after the collapse?

Lao Qiu: It was the night of the 26th. I saw that it was a wasteland and there was some construction waste. I thought it would be all right if I just dumped it. I didn’t expect the police to call me the next day and asked me to go to the police station. Only then did I know that someone posted this on the Internet, and the police found me through surveillance.

After explaining the situation at the police station, Lao Qiu was fined 200 yuan by the local urban management for littering.

In his refrigerated car, the co-pilot was covered with his bedding, more than 10 used masks were hung on the steering wheel lever, and there were two boxes of leftover instant noodles on the dashboard. These things were given to him at the police station after the police knew his situation…

It cost 20,000 yuan to buy this batch of apples, as well as nearly 2,000 yuan in fuel costs along the way. Lao Qiu admitted that he was a little “impulsive” this time.

“On April 19th, I pulled a truck from Shandong to Chongming for a guaranteed supply of vegetables. I was connected with a cooperative and got a pass. The journey went smoothly. I just wanted to go back to my hometown and get some apples. There are farmers who grow apples, and I don’t want to make more money. The wholesale price is 3.6 yuan per kilogram, and it is enough to sell for 6 or 8 yuan per kilogram here.”

These few days in Shanghai, Lao Qiu lives in the car. In order to find a way for selling apples by car, he does nucleic acid tests every day. He uses almost all the money. When he opens the WeChat wallet on his mobile phone, the balance is just more than 500 yuan…

Lao Qiu said bluntly that he hasn’t thought about the next plan yet: “I’m earning shipping fees. I just bought this refrigerator this year. It cost nearly 200,000 yuan, and the loan needs to be repaid more than 5,000 yuan per month. I want to take orders again, but I’ve been to Shanghai before, cars that have been to Shanghai were not allowed to get off the expressway in many places, so I’m just thinking about waiting for Shanghai to unblock, it is said that the closure will be lifted soon. I’m thinking about bringing some goods from Shanghai at that time and then going out…”

Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic in Beijing has been repeated, and some citizens have hoarded goods and centralized purchases.

However, as the supply of materials became more and more abundant, the citizens who stocked up at the beginning found that they could buy fresh vegetables every day, rice, noodles, grain, and oil were also guaranteed, they gradually felt that their previous behavior was “not necessary”, and said “I regret it very much.”

“Scrambled eggs with spinach, cold spinach, spinach noodles, spinach juice… Mr. Meng, who lives in Fengtai District, recently ate spinach in various ways, and felt that he was already a little “like a vegetable”.

“It’s not because I hoarded too much before, but now the vegetables are wilting…” Last weekend, affected by some panic buying, Mr. Meng also hurried to the supermarket to prepare a wave of goods.

“At that time, I saw that there were a lot of spinach and garlic sprouts, and I didn’t think much about it. I quickly took a few handfuls. Spinach bought the most, and it had to be 4 or 5 pounds.” Mr. Meng said. As a result, after eating spinach, he found that the speed of eating could not keep up with the speed of the rotten vegetables. As soon as I go to the supermarket downstairs, there is a sufficient supply of fresh vegetables every day, and the price is not expensive. “It’s really unnecessary to stock up so many vegetables. It’s uncomfortable to eat and waste.” Mr. Meng said helplessly.

It is not only Mr. Meng who regrets it.

This Monday, seeing the news of confirmed cases in Beijing, Ms. Han, a citizen of Dongcheng District, couldn’t sit still. “Many communities are closed. We don’t feel at ease when we don’t have any food at home.” She hurriedly went shopping with her family at a nearby mall. When she entered the supermarket, she saw everyone adding things to the shopping cart in large and small bags. Ms. Han was even more motivated, and soon joined the “army” of stockpiling goods.

6.08L of sunflower oil, 5L of peanut oil, 5kg of snowflake powder, and two big bags of 50kg Wudeli wheat flour.” These are the necessities of life. If you can’t go out at the time, these things can be kept.”

However, when she returned home after “passionate shopping”, Ms. Han realized that there was not so much space to put things in the house. Pure water, snowflake powder, and instant noodles took up an entire cabinet. She had to ask the neighbors for help and put some flour and cooking oil in the neighbor’s house.

“In the past two days, the supply of goods in the supermarket is the same as before. Nothing is out of stock. If I knew it earlier, I would not follow the trend of stockpiling. I bought too much flour. These two days, we always eat either steamed flower rolls or steamed buns. The children keep shouting that they don’t want to eat pasta anymore.” Ms. Han said angrily.

On the afternoon of the same day, according to a press conference on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in Beijing, from 16:00 on April 23 to 16:00 on the 24th, Beijing added 21 new cases of local COVID-19 infection.
The meeting also reminded the public that from the 25th, normal nucleic acid testing will be carried out in Chaoyang District, Beijing.

In fact, just two days after Beijing “picked the stars” on the 23rd, scattered cases began to appear one after another, which aroused the vigilance of some citizens.

Guo Jia, the operation director of the Daily Youxian Beijing Region, revealed that on the 23rd, orders on the Daily Youxian app increased by about 3 times year-on-year; after Beijing announced the latest changes in the pandemic on the 24th, the increase quickly rose to 6 times.

On the afternoon of the 24th, many citizens began to “passionately” place orders on the fresh food app, but the capacity was quickly wiped out.
On the Jingdong APP, rice noodles, instant food, large barrels of alcohol, N95 masks, rolling papers, and other common items were also quickly sold out.
As of the evening of April 26, many commonly used products in Jingdong’s Beijing warehouse were shown to be delivered after April 29.

On April 25th, people queuing for checkout in Chaoyang District supermarket

On the evening of April 24, office workers and middle-aged and elderly people flocked to major supermarkets in Beijing for offline purchases.

Xiaoyu, who works in a large factory in Haidian, rushed to Yonghui Supermarket in Changping District after getting off work. She saw that there were still fruits and green leafy vegetables left, while onions, potatoes, baby vegetables, tomatoes, and other vegetables that were resistant to storage were indistinguishable.” sweep”.

People’s shopping carts are full of pork, eggs, and convenience foods, and there are people loading cartons with boxes of alcohol. Xiaoyu wrote four words on Wechat: “shivering”.

On April 25, the shopping page of Hema, Dingdong grocery shopping, and Duodian APP

That night, major supermarkets and fresh food apps in Beijing, including Wumart, Carrefour, and Yonghui, announced that they would extend their business hours until late at night.

Xiaoyu saw a lot of neatly styled pictures on Wechat: various strategies for hoarding vegetables, stuffed shopping carts, or emptied shelves in supermarkets.

“Until now, I can’t believe that I actually spent nearly 7,000 yuan to buy things in the supermarket. My wife said I was really obsessed!” Mr. Lin, who lives in Chaoyang, still thinks his actions are incredible.

Mr. Lin has been fascinated by the idea of stockpiling goods by relatives and friends in Shanghai, and there are several different versions of various material forms.

Especially after watching the press conference on the same day, Mr. Lin panicked completely after a friend received a short message from a friend around him, and the word “hoarding goods” became a subconscious conditioned reflex.

“I see that the supermarket is full of people, and I don’t care about the shopping list. I can take what others take. I haven’t eaten instant noodles, mustard, ham, luncheon meat, and canned food for five or six years. The prepared meat dishes were put into the shopping cart together,” said Mr. Lin.

To Mr. Lin’s regret and surprise, although the Nongguangli community in Chaoyang District currently requires residents to work from home and not leave the area, on the evening of the 25th, their family received a free vegetable package from the community, including lettuce, cabbage, Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and potatoes, etc.

“The whole family started to eat vegetables, otherwise, most of the vegetables stored on Sunday would have to be thrown away. Anxiety really kills people.” Mr. Lin said.

At the Beijing pandemic Prevention and Control Press Conference on April 25, Zhao Weidong, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said: Beijing’s refined grain and refined oil transactions are stable, the reserves are sufficient, and the reserves can meet the consumption needs of Beijing residents for 30 days. In general, the supply of various daily necessities in Beijing is sufficient and stable, and the supply is guaranteed.

On April 22, in the theme park of Universal Studios Beijing, three children stood in front of Megatron for a group photo. The taller boy suddenly gave Megatron the middle finger.

To this, Megatron replied: “Do you still want this finger?”

Afterward, the boy turned around and gave Megatron a thumbs down, and Megatron immediately “angrily criticized”: “Your mother is still here, you have lost your mother’s face.”

At this time, the boy turned around again and kicked Megatron’s left leg. An employee in blue overalls saw this and tried to stop it.

Megatron said again: “There are too many naughty children, and you are not a good brother at all.” During the period, there were bursts of laughter at the scene.

“Can this kind of behavior be blocked?” “Megatron is right, support.” After the video was uploaded to the Internet, many netizens expressed their views on the boy’s behavior.

In addition, some netizens questioned why parents did not stop their children in time.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, the reporter consulted Universal Studios Beijing on this matter.

The customer service said that they had not received any notification about the matter. They will report the situation to the relevant departments, and staff will reply later.

But as of press time, the reporter has not received a reply.

The reporter noticed that in September 2021, a tourist gave Megatron the middle finger and was reprimanded as a “dirty human being”.

Afterward, a staff member said that “dirty human beings” were said to conform to the character’s setting and did not mean to belittle, and said that there is currently no rule that tourists cannot behave indecently towards anime characters, nor will they be blacklisted. However, if this happens, the on-site staff will stop it in time.

On the morning of April 15th, I took the high-speed rail from Shandong and then transferred twice to Shanghai. It was 7 pm when I arrived at my son’s house.

When I came to Shanghai this time, I brought two large boxes and a cloth bag with seventy to 40 kilograms of ingredients, including vegetables, beef, chicken, cooked food, soy products, and more.

When I was packing my luggage, the ingredients were all over the floor, and my son also took a photo and sent it to a circle of friends. I didn’t expect so many people to like and comment.

Some people say yes, “Only a mother is good in the world”. This is true, parents are of course worried about their children. But I can’t afford more praise, after all, it’s what my family wants to eat.

Some people ask, why do you have to go to Shanghai? Some people are also concerned, how did you get here on the way? I’ll just say it.

Coming to Shanghai is not an impromptu intention, it is planned. In the past, I used to live at my son’s house. I also spent the Spring Festival this year in Shanghai, and I will stay in Shanghai for the next few years. The little grandson just turned half a year old and needs someone to take care of him. Especially after the lockdown is lifted, sons and daughters-in-law have to return to work, so I have to come and prepare to take care of their grandchildren in advance.

It was really hard to book tickets this time.

Our hometown is Tancheng County in the southernmost part of Shandong Province. The usual way of transportation to Shanghai is to take a bus, go to Linyi Airport to fly directly to Shanghai, or go south to a county-level city in northern Jiangsu and take a four-hour high-speed train directly to Shanghai.

But under the pandemic, these methods will not work at all. Buses and planes were stopped, and the Lu-Su junction was also closed. The feasible way is to take the high-speed rail in the province and find a way to transfer the high-speed rail to Shanghai.

At the beginning, I booked a ticket for April 5. At that time, it was said that this time was the time when Puxi was unblocked. I took the high-speed train from Linyi to Rizhao, and then from Rizhao to Shanghai. But a few days before departure, the bus from Rizhao to Shanghai was suspended.

The second route I chose was to take the high-speed rail from Linyi to Qufu, then transfer to Hefei, and then from Hefei to Shanghai. The road took a lot of detours and I had to transfer twice. But a few days before departure, I received a notice that the third journey was suspended.

The third shift that actually took place was Linyi to Rizhao, transfer to Xuzhou, and then transfer to Shanghai. It takes more than an hour to go to the high-speed rail station, and about 8 hours for the high-speed rail and transfer.

After I booked the ticket, I thought, if it is canceled again, I will take the logistics truck to Hangzhou, and then go from Hangzhou to Shanghai by high-speed rail. My cousin who runs a restaurant in the express service area also helped me contact a familiar driver in advance.

Then there’s the matter of getting things ready.

Although the area where my son is located is relatively late, the supplies are ok. With the help of community group purchases and some friends, there is no shortage of food and drink. But I don’t know when the pandemic will affect it. After all, it is inconvenient to purchase in Shanghai, so bringing more things makes me feel safer.

Meat is bought ahead of time, frozen in the freezer. For vegetables, buy them a day or two in advance.

My son was afraid that my luggage will be too heavy, so he told me just to bring some leafy vegetables. He told me that there is no shortage of vegetables in Shanghai now, but they are all durable vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and onions, and green leafy vegetables are hard to buy.

On the high-speed train at 8 o’clock that day, I went to the wholesale market at 4 in the morning and bought vegetables for dozens of dollars.

In the end, I bought nearly 10 kinds of leafy vegetables in the box, more than 20 kinds of vegetables in total, including seasonal vegetables such as toon, and 4 kilograms of apples.

In addition to buying it yourself, many relatives and friends also help. In fact, when they first knew that I was going to Shanghai, they persuaded me not to go, and even the apple sellers persuaded me not to go to Shanghai. But seeing that I had to go, they all started to help me prepare things.

My sister-in-law fried a big bag of dried tofu, my daughter’s in-laws bought some vegetables, and my brother-in-law helped to make the mutton into mature food…

The original plan was to add a large box and a handbag, and finally, there was an extra-large box. I used to bring a little more stuff when I traveled far, but this time I have to change trains and I have a lot of stuff, so I’m ready to move it a little bit.

At 5:30, my relatives drove me to set off. It took an hour and a half to reach Linyi High-speed Railway Station and take the 8:00 high-speed train. On the flat ground in the high-speed rail station, I hung a bag on my shoulders and dragged a box forward with one hand. The box was old and the pulley was not so easy to use. It was a little hard to pull.

The more troublesome thing is to get on the elevator, the elevator is hard to find, and the escalator is basically used. I just ship one box at a time, then walk down the ladder, and then carry another box up.

Not too strenuous, but time consuming. The transfer time at Rizhao High-speed Railway Station was originally reserved for 40 minutes, but the entire transfer time took 30 minutes.

There are also many kind people. At Linyi High-speed Railway Station, a station staff helped me drag a box from the ticket gate to the train. When I was transferring in Xuzhou, a young man helped me drag a box.

I took three shots of the vaccine myself, and I was not too afraid of the pandemic on this trip. What I worry about is that Shanghai will not be able to enter, I will be asked to return to my hometown, my hometown will not be able to receive it, and the fresh vegetables I bring will be spoiled, so then what should I do?

For safety, I still wore two layers of masks and disposable gloves during the whole process.

The trains from Xuzhou to Shanghai was full of people, and when we got to Suzhou, there were only a few people left in our carriages, and there were more Jingdong couriers who supported Shanghai in other carriages. I think these couriers who came to Shanghai to help are very brave. They are here to help others.

The facilities of Hongqiao Station are good, the elevator is also convenient, and there are taxis and buses with guaranteed operation. I took a taxi to my son’s house, and it was completely metered. When entering the community, you must hold a nucleic acid certificate and make an antigen on the spot.

When my son saw me, he was also very surprised. He knew that I would bring something, but he didn’t know that I had brought so much. When packing his luggage, he was even more startled when he saw that things were spread on the ground, and there were no prongs on the ground.

I’m just glad that I can bring so many things, and I hope the more the better. When reporting the safety of my relatives in my hometown, I kept showing them off. My nephew said that if it was him, he might have thrown the box away on the way.

So far, I have had four times of nucleic acid tests in Shanghai, all of which are negative.

As the first-generation Internet celebrity tourist city, Dali became popular in 2014 after the movie “Bright Heart” was released. The theme song of the movie was called “Go to Dali”, which sang “All the way to the west, to Dali”. With the fire of the movie, Dali also became a tourist destination that many people yearn for.

Dali, housing prices continue to fall
Dali, Shuanglang

From 2015 to 2017, in two years, the number of hotels, homestays and inns in major scenic spots such as Dali Ancient Town and Shuanglang has doubled; in 2017 alone, nearly 1,000 hotels, inns and homestays have been added in Dali Ancient Town.

“When it’s hottest, it doesn’t matter if you can’t book a room at all, even if you live in, once it’s check-out time, if you don’t check out in time, your luggage will be taken out by the staff and put at the door because new tourists are waiting.” Lemon, the owner of a homestay in the ancient city of Dali, told the “Daily Economic News” reporter.

However, affected by the pandemic in the past two years, the number of tourists in Dali has dropped sharply. “On the first day of the Qingming holiday last year, our hotel received 22 groups of customers, but on the first day of this year, there were only 4 groups.” Lemon said that compared with previous years, the price of the small holiday inn can be slightly increased. This year, “it is better to lose money.” Indeed to make money, as far as I know, some bars also offer cocktails for 1 yuan a glass, vodka for 5 yuan a glass… in order to attract customers to come into the store, and then bet they can spend something else.”

Dali, housing prices continue to fall
Dali, housing prices continue to fall
  • This situation is reflected in real estate, and the same applies.

As a tourist destination, Dali’s popularity is being surpassed by other cities. Previously, Dali attracted many people to buy a house due to its unique tourism resources. “There are really a lot of tourists living in Dali.” Wu Kui, a real estate agent in Dali’s Deyou store, told the “Daily Economic News” reporter, “There are very few other tourist cities like Dali that can attract a person to travel here, and then choose to live here.”

Migrants from other cities soared has also caused local housing prices to rise. Some netizens recalled on social platforms: “In 2016, I bought a four-bedroom set in Xiaguan, 5,000 yuan/square meter. A year later, the high-speed rail was connected, and the new houses around the market rose to 14,000 yuan/square meter. Fortunately, I Buy it early, or you really can’t afford it.”

According to the “Hurun 2019 Global House Price Index”, Dali’s housing prices rose by 20.2% in one year from 2018 to 2019, making it the city with the highest housing price increase in China and the second largest in the world.

However, house prices in Dali have continued to drop in recent years.

Kerui data shows that in 2021, the overall housing price of Dali will drop by 6.47% to 10,924 yuan / square meter. As of March this year, among the cities in Yunnan, only the provincial capitals Kunming and Dali, the average price of new commercial housing exceeds 10,000. In the first quarter of this year, the transaction volume of new houses in Dali was less than 100,000 square meters.

  • The house has been listed for two years, but it cannot be sold.

In 2018, the most popular year in Dali, Zhang Qian spent more than 1.2 million yuan to purchase a 101-square-meter property in Xiaguan.

“I just came to Dali for tourism at that time, I wanted to see the landscape here, but I didn’t expect that I was attracted and bought a suite.” Zhang Qian recalled, “Maybe because I am a northerner, I have no resistance to the landscape of Dali. In particular, there is Erhai Lake in Dali, and the humidity is very high. For me, who has lived in a dry area in the north for a long time, it is simply a fatal temptation.”

After discussing with her family, Zhang Qian, who had seen several real estate projects, bought the current suite. “The down payment is 500,000 yuan from the family, and now the monthly mortgage payment is more than 3,500 yuan.” Zhang Qian said, “At that time, Dali real estate was basically not worried about selling, in addition to being able to come and live for a few months every year, you can also use it as an investment.”

However, the house was delivered at the end of 2019, and the pandemic interrupted Zhang Qian’s dream. “After the house was delivered, we visited in July 2020 and mid-2021, and it has not been decorated yet.” It was also in 2020 that Zhang Qian decided to sell the house.

“The family still thinks that the house is too large, and the monthly mortgage pressure is a bit high, and they only go to stay for a while every year. There is no need to be too big, we want to change a house of 70 to 80 square meters.” For this, the house was listed for sale by Deyou store for 1.25 million yuan.

However, since November 2020, house prices in Dali have continued to decline, and the decline has continued to expand. As of March this year, the price of new houses in Dali fell by 5.7% year on year, and the price of second-hand houses fell by 4.7% year on year.

The listing price of Zhang Qian’s house has also continued to drop, from the initial 1.25 million yuan to the current 1.05 million yuan. “There is no way. There have been very few people asking about this house in the past two years. Now I want to sell it as soon as possible.”

According to the “Shanghai Welfare Lottery” official account on April 1, the city’s consignment outlets will suspend the sales and redemption of welfare lottery tickets (including computer-based welfare lottery tickets and instant welfare lottery tickets) from April 1, and the recovery time will be announced separately depending on the progress of Shanghai’s Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control work.

On April 13, the China Welfare Lottery released the Seven Lottery lottery announcement, showing that the 2022040 issue of the Seven Lottery had a total of 2 first prizes, including one in Shanghai and one in Shandong. The first prize single bet bonus was about 2.566 million yuan.

Later, some media quoted Welfare Lottery customer service as saying that the winner in Shanghai was betting through text messages.

Zhongxin Finance contacted the customer service of the official website of the Welfare Lottery and got a response, “The policies for betting by telephone and SMS are not consistent in various places. At present, only two places can bet by phone or SMS, Liaoning Province and Shanghai.”

Recently, the Covid-19 Pandemic in Shanghai has been serious.

Residents Mr. Ji’s family and 17 neighbors bought a whole pig that had been slaughtered in order to eat fresh pork. In the absence of a butcher in the market, Mr. Ji’s father, a former professor of anatomy, dismembered the whole pig to satisfy the greed of the neighbors.

An anatomy professor is an expert in dissecting the human body. Who would have guessed that one day, an anatomy professor will act as a butcher?

On April 12, Mr. Ji, who was in the Shanghai prevention area, received a message for help in the community buying group, “Looking for someone who can cut pork.”

“The pork we bought in the group was all frozen. We want to eat fresh pork, and after inquiries, we learned that there is currently a lack of butchers in the market to cut pork, and if you want to eat fresh pork, you can only buy a whole pig and cut it yourself.”

Mr. Ji introduced that when he saw the news of looking for a pig cutter, he asked his father, who was a professor of anatomy if he could cut the pig. “My father, Professor Ji Rongming, is a member of the Naval Medical University (formerly the Second Military Medical University), professor of clinically applied anatomy, winner of the National Invention Award, now retired. Although his 71-year-old father has never dismembered a pig, this is also cutting work, he thought it would not be difficult to cut a whole pig, so he agreed.”

Afterward, Mr. Ji and 17 neighbors bought a whole pig. “Because special tools are required to cut the pig’s head, and we only have a kitchen knife, we did not want the pig’s head, nor the pig’s internal organs and tail.” Mr. Ji said the volunteers sent the whole pig to his house with a small cart that day.

“We first put cardboard on the table to prevent damage to the house’s hygiene when cutting the pig. Then, my father and I carried the pig to the table, and my father put on medical white gloves and used a pen to draw 16 strips on the pig’s back. He took out the freshly sharpened kitchen knife and cut the pig along the bisector line.” Mr. Ji said that his father’s cutting technique was very neat, “Compared to dissection, cutting pork is relatively simple, because when dissecting the human body, care should be taken to protect the organs, so the method is more careful, and the pork can be cut with a slash, even if it is cut crookedly, it can be eaten.”

After cutting the pork, they took out the scales and weighed 17 pieces of pork by standing on the scale and holding 17 pieces of pork in turn.

“My father’s knife skills are perfect. Each portion of meat is basically 10 kilograms, and they are very happy after sharing it with the neighbors. Later, we made braised pork with fresh pork, and I feel that the braised pork this time is more fragrant because this is the pork that we cut ourselves, the braised pork is infused with our hard work.” Mr. Ji said.

Mr. Ji said that they are happy to help their neighbors realize their wishes, and they will buy whole pigs or whole sheep again in the future to satisfy everyone’s greed.

When the reporter visited a park in Shenzhen, Guangdong, he found a lot of “pink candies” in the lotus pond. The coquettish “pink candy” is the egg of the snail, and if you look closely, you will find that this pile of “pink candy” is actually composed of countless eggs. If you crush it, it will turn into a puddle of disgusting “blood”.

Fushou snail is a mollusk belonging to the family of snails and the genus of snails. It is very similar in appearance to field snails.

The patterns on the snail shell change with the environment and age. When moving, the head and abdominal feet of the snail will stick out to assist in crawling, while the eyes are located on the outside of the base of the posterior antenna. The common snail is about 7 cm in size. It belongs to the medium and large snail family in my country.

In addition, don’t look at the dirty look of the snail, but it has a “cleanliness” and likes to live in water quality. In clear freshwater, it mainly feeds on duckweed, vegetables, melons, and fruits, but it also eats animal carrion in the water. It is an omnivorous snail.

Experts say that the scary thing about Fushou snails is that they carry a large number of parasites in their bodies. Experts once conducted experiments on Fushou snails and found that there can be as many as 6,000 parasites in a single Fushou snail. If it is eaten into the human body, it will cause fever and diarrhea, and it will be life-threatening in severe cases.

The parasites in the snails cannot be killed by high-temperature cooking, because there are a lot of parasites in the snails, and there have been incidents of eating snails in our country. In 2006, a restaurant in Beijing launched a dish called “cold snail meat”. But because of the high price of the conch, the restaurant temporarily decided to replace the conch with Fushou snail.

However, there was an incident in which diners were infected with parasites after eating snails. Since then, snails have been strictly prohibited from appearing in the market, and people have begun to realize that snails are inedible, but since they cannot be eaten, how to solve the flood of Fushou snails in Guangdong this time?

Experts believe that there are many ways to eliminate snails. The first thing is to destroy the eggs of the snails. If the eggs of the snails are found by the pond, it is best to use tools to shovel and crush them. The second is to spray the liquid medicine for Fushou snails in the major ponds. These liquids will spread with the water flow until the nearby Fushou snails are completely eliminated.

The last point is “fighting poison with poison”, you can put some natural enemy species of the snail, such as carp, river crab, etc., in fact, there is a perfect cycle in nature, a species cannot destroy the ecological environment for no reason, and it is impossible to have this ability. All this is just the result of human intentional or unintentional production.

On April 10, the first batch of more than 500 patients was released from the N4 cabin of the Shanghai New International Expo Center Fangcang Cabin Hospital, which was jointly taken over by the Jiangxi Aid Shanghai Medical Team 2 and Team 5.

Li Zicai from Xuancheng, Anhui received the notice of departure and took the initiative to find the head nurse, hoping to continue to stay as a volunteer to help overcome the epidemic.

In an interview with Jiupai News, he introduced that he was 35 years old and engaged in the interior decoration industry. He has been in Shanghai for ten years, and now his work is suspended.

After witnessing the hard work of the medical staff in the cabin, Li Zicai also wanted to help them. In the end, his request was rejected by the pandemic prevention headquarters, and he planned to reassess what he could do to help.

Because his residence in Shanghai is a shared house, he does not meet the conditions for home isolation. In addition, considering the feelings of the residents in the community, he chose to observe himself in the hotel for a week before going back.

“After the observation period, if there is a need for volunteers in Shanghai, I will go there without hesitation and do whatever I can for the pandemic in Shanghai.”

Life in the Cabin, Shanghai
Life in the Cabin, Shanghai

The following is his own statement, Li Zicai:

I wake up from 5:30 to 6:00 every day and then help the nurses distribute breakfast to the patients. At noon, I bask in the sun in the activity area and also do some activities in the afternoon. I usually rest around 10 o’clock in the evening. There are many elderly people and children here. They get up early and rest early.

The daily breakfast is bread and milk, there are meat and vegetables for lunch and dinner. Meals are usually brought in by medical staff, and volunteers help push the meals to different areas for distribution.

Once, I saw that “Da Bai” was wearing protective clothing, pushing the meal from a long distance. After sweating, he stood against the wall to rest, he might be a little dehydrated and dizzy.

My symptoms were a mild cough, and I didn’t take medicine in the cabin, and the doctor didn’t suggest taking medicine, the doctor said I should rely on my autoimmunity.

In the cabin, ome people leave and some people come. At this time, some people have emotional outbursts and feel that the positive patients in the cabin has gradually decreased, and new ones have come later, fearing that their own body is weak and will return to positive.

My colleague was very nervous when he entered the cabin, so I told him not to be afraid, and chatted with others more when he was upset.

There are about 1,500 people in the cabin, and the overall atmosphere is good. Some people bring badminton to play badminton, and some people run, dance square dance, and play Tai Chi. There are still many people working and taking classes online, but the overall environment is a bit noisy and it is a little difficult to concentrate.
