Coronavirus: How to Protect Shaanxi Qinling Giant Panda

After the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the Shaanxi Province Qinling Giant Panda Breeding Research Center formulated a base prevention and control work plan. All party members and cadres stood by at any time to ensure the safety of national treasures such as pandas.

The Qinling Giant Panda Breeding Research Center has more than 300 rare animals such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, magpies, and takin.

According to the prevention and control plans, the center closed the upper and lower parks, prohibiting outsiders from entering and leaving, and increasing the disinfection intensity and density of gatekeepers, parks, feeding areas, animal enclosures, and other places.

In order to ensure the safety of rare animals such as giant pandas, the center has formulated emergency measures for the supply of bamboo and animal feed.

Relevant staff members are on call 24 hours a day to ensure the timely delivery of feed.
