Liang, a high school teacher in Yibin City, Sichuan Province molested a number of boys in the past ten years. At least 30 or so students have suffered various degrees of infringement by Liang. More than 10 of them chose to report to the police.
Currently, Liang has been transferred to the local prosecutor for review and prosecution.
The reporter was given the opportunity to communicate with the two victims in this case and learned that this experience has caused great harm to them.
Facing the painful past
The first person said: “In fact, after the incident, I was ashamed of the sexual assault and ignorant of the law. I had no other choice at the time and didn’t know what I should do until last year. Because after a few years, my mood has been calmed down and my emotions have improved a lot. I have done psychological construction myself. I feel that this matter is not as difficult to tell at the time. Secondly, there are other students who have been violated, so I feel that since there are me and others. I’m not sure whether it will happen again in the future. I only announced it with the mentality of hope that this matter will end here.”
The second person recalled: “As a result, I did not do well in the college entrance examination. The worst time in the three years was the college entrance examination. The long-term influence caused me to have a sense of distrust for both boys and girls.”
According to the lawyer, this is the first case in China that a male teacher molested male students over 14 years old and entered the criminal justice process.
