At 20:07 on June 9, Xi’an Fire Protection Jinhua North Road Fire Rescue Station received an alarm saying that a patient in Xijing Hospital was inserted near the eye with a bow and arrow, and requested the fire department to assist in the disposal.
The rescue station dispatched a rescue unit with 7 people in a car, and instructor Yang Qin led the rescue.
Arriving at the scene, it was found that a female patient had a bow and arrow inserted under her left eye.
It was understood that a man was playing with a bow and arrow in the community and accidentally injured the injured person who was walking.
Because the hospital needs to perform CT examination on the injured, the bow and arrow are too long to enter the instrument, and the hospital does not have tools to cut it, so fire rescue personnel need to cut the bow and arrow short.
After the fire station signed a letter of commitment between the patient’s family and the hospital, one fire rescuer used pliers to fix the two sides, and another fire rescuer used bolt cutters to cut off the bow and arrow.
After the disposal is completed and it is determined that there is no danger, it will be handed over to the hospital, and the command center will be asked to return.
