A set of second-hand houses in Shanghai became popular on the Internet: a corridor of about 10 meters in length was connected between the master bedroom and the second bedroom, which was joked by netizens as “the best runway house”.
This second-hand house is located in the high-rise (a total of 21 floors) of the fifth ring building in Changning District, Shanghai, with an area of 77.88 square meters.
The floor plan shows that the structure of this room is two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, and one bathroom. The main bedroom faces south and the second bedroom faces west. There is an extra-long serpentine corridor with a length of about 10 meters, which connects the master bedroom and the second bedroom.
It is understood that this corridor is actually an aisle shared by residents on this floor, not the corridor of the owner’s home. The so-called second bedroom is actually a terrace provided by the developer. It was later transformed into a room without a bathroom, which is not convenient for living.
The floor plan of the house has been modified and the aisle has been removed.
After the house suddenly became popular on the Internet, the owner Mr. Zhang received a lot of calls. Many people were curious and wondered if there was a “runway in the house”, will the floor plan on the Internet false? Mr. Zhang said, “They mainly ask me if the small room and the corridor are really there, just these two questions.” Some customers thought that the 10-meter aisle is a home corridor. When they knew that this was actually an aisle and belonged to the public, they were no longer interested.
