Threatening Life of Wife and Children, He Raped Daughter for Many Years

The reporter learned from the Judgment Documents Network on the 5th that the Yinzhou District People’s Court in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province recently tried a case in which the biological father raped his minor daughter many times in 6 years.

The defendant Chen Moumou was sentenced to 13 years in prison for rape, deprivation of political rights for 3 years.

The verdict, in this case, shows that the public prosecution alleges that from November 2013 to July 2019, the defendant Chen Moumou had sexual relations with his biological daughter Chen Mou born in 2002 many times in his temporary housing in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City.

In July 2019, accompanied by Chen’s mother, Chen went to the local police station to call the police. On the same day, the defendant Chen Moumou was arrested by the police in a temporary house in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City.

The verdict showed that the victim Chen had stated that when Chen ’s parents divorced for more than ten days before the court began in 2013, his father tricked Chen into the room and infringed on her.

Since then, Chen has been sexually assaulted by his father for a long time. In March 2019, Chen had told his mother on WeChat that the father’s injury to her was irreparable, but at first, the mother did not believe it.

In July 2019, Chen Mou recorded a video of sexual assault and sent it to her mother. Chen stated that his father, Chen Moumou, had stated that if Chen Mou “speaks things out,” he would kill Chen’s mother and brother with a knife.

After trial, the court found out that from November 2013 to July 2019, the defendant Chen Moumou forcibly had sexual relations with his biological daughter Chen Mou. The court held that the defendant Chen Moumou had raped his underage daughter many times for a long time, the circumstances were bad, and his behavior had constituted a crime of rape. Chen Moumou was sentenced to 13 years in prison and deprived of political rights for 3 years.
